Henry Pellé works the chalky soils of Menetou-Salon in the Upper Loire, a region defined by mineral precision and cool-climate intensity. The winery's portfolio centers on two varieties native to the Loire's limestone terroirs: Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Le Carroir Menetou-Salon Morogues Blanc, a Sauvignon Blanc, and Les Cris Menetou-Salon Morogues, a Pinot Noir, represent the house's core expression—both rated highly by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Falstaff, Wine Spectator, and Decanter. Vignes de Ratier Menetou-Salon Morogues, another Sauvignon Blanc, rounds out the range. These wines reflect the Upper Loire's signature character: bright acidity, floral and herbaceous aromatics in the whites, and elegant structure in the reds. The chalky subsoil imparts a distinctive salinity and tension that defines the appellation.
