Herdade Aldeia de Cima produces wines from Portugal's Alentejo region, where the continental climate and schist-rich soils favor ripe, structured reds and mineral whites. The winery's Garrafeira Tinto blends Alicante Bouschet and Aragonez—varieties that thrive in Alentejo's heat and deliver dark fruit, tannin density, and aging potential. The Alyantiju Branco, made from Antão Vaz, captures the region's white wine character: aromatic, textured, and food-friendly. A third expression, Myndru Tinto, draws on Grossa, Baga, and Alfrocheiro Preto, three Portuguese varieties that add complexity and regional identity. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Decanter, and Wine Spectator.
