Herndler produces wines from Kamptal, a valley in Austria's Niederösterreich region known for mineral-driven white wines. The winery focuses on two varieties native to the region: Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. Reserve Dechant Grüner Veltliner, the winery's highest-rated wine, exemplifies the crisp, structured character the valley is known for. Riesling Kamptal dac Reserve Hiataberg and Alte Reben Kamptal Reserve Grüner Veltliner round out the portfolio, both drawing on older vines and the region's limestone and loess soils.
