Il Palagio sits in Toscana, the heart of central Italy's wine country. The winery produces wines rooted in the region's classic varieties and terroir. Its 1530 Toscana Rosso, a blend of Vermentino and Sangiovese, anchors the portfolio—a wine that marries the structure of Sangiovese with the aromatic lift of Vermentino. The Sauvignon Toscana expresses the crisp, mineral character expected of the variety in this continental climate. Le Ginestrelle Vernaccia di San Gimignano, made from the indigenous white grape of the nearby hilltop zone, rounds out the range with the stone-fruit and herbal notes typical of Vernaccia. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter.
