Il Palagione

Il Palagione is a Tuscan winery producing wines from Central Italy's distinctive terroir. The estate focuses on regional varieties: Sangiovese, the backbone of Tuscan reds, and Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the crisp white native to the San Gimignano hills. The Antajr Rosso, a Sangiovese-based wine, represents the winery's work with the region's signature red grape. Complementing this are two expressions of Vernaccia di San Gimignano—the Ori Riserva and the Lyra—each capturing the mineral, herbaceous character for which the variety is prized. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter, establishing a presence among prestige critics. Il Palagione's portfolio reflects Tuscany's classical approach: depth in its reds, precision in its whites, grounded in the specific conditions of central Italian viticulture.
