Iona produces wines from Elgin, a cool-climate region within the Cape South Coast. The winery's portfolio centers on varieties suited to the area's maritime influence: Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sémillon. Solace, a Shiraz, represents the winery's work with red fruit and structure. Wild Ferment Monopole Sauvignon Blanc and One Man Band White, a Sémillon–Sauvignon Blanc blend, showcase the region's capacity for aromatic white wines with acidity and mineral character. The wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Decanter, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and Falstaff.
