J.A. Ferret

J.A. Ferret works Chardonnay in Pouilly-Fuissé, the limestone-rich heart of Mâconnais in Burgundy. The winery's portfolio centers on site-specific expressions of the appellation's mineral terroir. Autour de la Roche Pouilly-Fuissé and Les Menétrieres Pouilly-Fuissé (Cuvée Hors-Classe) represent the upper register of the range, both Chardonnay-based wines that have drawn attention from Wine Spectator. Sous Vergisson Pouilly-Fuissé rounds out the core lineup. These wines reflect the region's signature character: white Burgundy with structure, acidity, and the flinty undertones that distinguish Pouilly-Fuissé from its neighboring appellations.
