Plan a wine trip to J. Lassalle — Femente builds the route.
J. Lassalle produces Champagne from the region's Premier Cru vineyards. The house works primarily with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc—the classic trio of Champagne varieties. Its flagship Cuvée Speciale Brut, a blend of all three, balances the mineral precision of Chardonnay with the structure and depth that Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc bring to the blend. The Blanc de Blancs, made entirely from Chardonnay, expresses the elegance and finesse the variety achieves in Champagne's cool climate. A rosé iteration of the Cuvée Speciale rounds out the portfolio, adding color and complexity through Pinot Noir. Wine Spectator and Wine Advocate have both rated J. Lassalle's releases, reflecting the technical consistency of its winemaking across dry and rosé expressions.
