Jacopo Banti works in Toscana, the heart of central Italy's wine country. The winery produces wines across a range of varieties, anchored by two standout expressions: Sciata Aleatico and Il Peccato, a Cabernet Sauvignon. Both have earned 90-point assessments from Wine Advocate. Aleatico, a dark-skinned grape with deep roots in Tuscan tradition, brings structure and dark fruit character to Sciata. Il Peccato channels Cabernet's signature architecture—firm tannins and aging potential—within the Tuscan context. A third offering, Trafui, built from Ciliegiolo, rounds out the portfolio with a lighter, more approachable profile. The wines reflect the region's volcanic soils and continental climate, which shape both ripeness and acidity across the vintage.
