Kalfu

Kalfu produces Pinot Noir from Leyda Valley, a cool-climate pocket within San Antonio Valley in Chile's Aconcagua region. The valley's maritime influence and morning fog create conditions suited to the variety's delicate balance of structure and aromatic finesse. The winery's portfolio centers on three expressions: Sumpai Pinot Noir and Molu Pinot Noir, both rated 92 by prestige critics including Decanter and Wine Advocate, and Kuda Pinot Noir at 91.5. Leyda's elevation and diurnal temperature swings encourage slow ripening, a hallmark of the region's approach to the variety.
