Klumpp

Klumpp produces wines from Baden, Germany's warmest wine region, where continental climate and diverse soils support both classic and indigenous varieties. The winery's portfolio centers on three flagship wines: Weiherberg Pinot Noir, a Pinot Noir that demonstrates the region's capacity for elegant red wines; Himmelreich Lemberger, showcasing the Württemberg-native variety; and Kirchberg Weissburgunder, a white wine from the Burgundian Weissburgunder grape. Each has been assessed by Wine Advocate and Falstaff. Baden's terroir—marked by warm days, moderate rainfall, and varied geology—allows Klumpp to craft wines that balance ripeness with structure. The region's position as Germany's southernmost quality wine area creates conditions where both traditional German varieties and international grapes achieve full expression.
