Kössler produces wines from Trentino, the Alpine valley at the heart of northern Italy's Trentino-Alto Adige region. The winery works with varieties suited to the area's cool climate and mineral soils: Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, and Lagrein. The Sauvignon expresses the crisp, herbaceous character typical of the variety in high-altitude vineyards. Gewürztraminer, a regional signature, shows the aromatic intensity and spice the grape develops in these conditions. Lagrein, the indigenous red of Trentino, brings structure and dark fruit to the portfolio. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and Wine Enthusiast, reflecting the winery's place within a region known for precision viticulture and food-friendly whites and reds.
