Ktima Toplou produces wines from Lasithi, in eastern Crete, drawing on indigenous Greek varieties suited to the island's Mediterranean climate. The winery's portfolio centers on white wines from Thrapsathiri and Assyrtiko—both grapes that thrive in Crete's warm, dry conditions and deliver crisp, mineral-driven character. Gerto, made from Thrapsathiri, and Assyrtiko represent the core of the range. A red blend of Mandilaria and Liatiko rounds out the selection, showcasing the darker-skinned varieties native to the region. Decanter has rated wines from the winery. The whites display the salinity and acidity typical of Cretan viticulture, while the red blend reflects the structure and earthiness of the island's traditional grapes.
