La Collina dei Ciliegi produces Amarone della Valpolicella in Veneto, the northeastern Italian region celebrated for this potent, dried-grape wine. The winery's core expression, Ciliegio Amarone della Valpolicella, blends Rondinella, Corvina Veronese, and Corvinone—the classic trio of the appellation. Two reserve bottlings extend the range: Erbin and Ciliegio Armando Gianolli Riserva, both built from the same varieties in different proportions, offering deeper concentration and aging potential. Amarone demands patience in the vineyard and cellar; grapes are dried for months before fermentation, concentrating sugars and tannins into wines of considerable structure and alcohol. Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and Decanter have rated the winery's releases, with the flagship Ciliegio earning particular recognition among the three bottlings.
