Lassl
Lassl produces wines from Burgenland's Rosalia district, in Austria's Weinland region. The winery focuses on Blaufränkisch, the dark-skinned grape that defines eastern Austrian red wine. Blaufränkisch carries mineral tension and bright acidity; in Rosalia's warm, limestone-influenced terroir, it develops ripe dark fruit and structure. Lassl's portfolio includes the Rosalia Grande Reserve Blaufränkisch, a concentrated expression of the variety, alongside the Cuvée Ultimo, a Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt blend that marries the two grapes' complementary profiles. The Blaufränkisch Rosalia Classic offers a more approachable entry point. Falstaff has rated these wines. The winery's work reflects the regional character of Burgenland reds: dry, food-friendly, and built on the interplay between ripeness and acidity.
