Le Bertarole is a winery in Veneto, in the northeastern corner of Italy's wine country. The estate focuses on the classic red wines of the Valpolicella region: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico and Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore. Both are built from the traditional blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara—grapes that thrive in Veneto's continental climate and volcanic soils. Amarone, made from air-dried grapes, develops the region's signature richness and alcohol; Ripasso, a lighter expression, gains complexity from contact with Amarone's spent skins. Le Bertarole's Amarone della Valpolicella Classico and Podere le Marognole Amarone della Valpolicella Classico have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter. The Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore rounds out the portfolio. These wines reflect the depth and structure that define serious Valpolicella production.
