Le Roc des Anges produces wines from Languedoc, the sprawling southern French region known for its Mediterranean climate and ancient vine traditions. The winery's portfolio centers on Carignan, a variety that thrives in the region's schist-rich soils and demands careful handling to reveal its mineral depth and structural complexity. The flagship 1903 Carignan de Schistes and Las Trabasseres demonstrate the grape's capacity for concentration and aging potential. A white blend of Grenache Gris and Macabeo, Les Vieilles Vignes Pyrenees-Orientales Blanc, rounds the range with the aromatic brightness and dry minerality characteristic of Languedoc's white varieties. Wines from the estate have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Decanter, Falstaff, and Wine Spectator.
