Librandi produces wines from Calabria, the southernmost region of mainland Italy, where Mediterranean sun and ancient volcanic soils shape distinctive expressions of indigenous varieties. The winery's portfolio centers on grapes rooted in Calabrian tradition: Magliocco Canino, a dark-skinned variety that yields the structured red Megonio; Mantonico Bianco, which forms the basis of the mineral Efeso Bianco; and Gaglioppo, a regional grape vinified as the dry rosé Rosaneti Brut. These wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Falstaff. Calabria's position at the toe of the Italian peninsula creates a singular terroir—intense sunlight tempered by maritime influence—that produces wines of notable depth and character.
