Louis Barthélémy

Louis Barthélémy produces champagne from the chalky soils and cool climate of France's Champagne region, where Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier thrive. The house releases three principal cuvées: Brut Saphir, a blend of all three varieties; Brut Rubis, built from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; and Brut Améthyste, which combines Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast have rated these wines, with Brut Saphir earning particular recognition among the three. Each reflects the traditional champagne method and the mineral character that defines the region.
