Lowboi

Lowboi is situated in Porongurup, a subregion of Great Southern in Western Australia known for cool-climate viticulture. The winery produces white wines across three principal varieties. Its Chardonnay has been assessed by Decanter, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Falstaff. The Riesling and Grüner Veltliner similarly draw evaluation from the same prestige critics. Porongurup's maritime influence and granite soils create conditions suited to aromatic and mineral-driven expressions. Chardonnay from the region tends toward restraint and complexity; Riesling thrives in the cool conditions, developing acidity and stone-fruit character. Grüner Veltliner, an Austrian variety, finds expression in Australia's southern reaches through crisp, herbaceous profiles. Lowboi's focus on these three white varieties reflects the region's strengths in cool-climate production.
