Lupé-Cholet works across the Côte de Beaune, the heart of Burgundy's finest terroirs. The winery's portfolio centers on two of the region's defining grapes: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Its Chablis Premier Cru 'Les Vaillons' expresses the mineral precision and complexity that distinguish this northernmost Burgundy appellation, built on limestone-rich soils. From the Côte de Beaune proper, Lupé-Cholet produces Morey-Saint-Denis and Volnay—both Pinot Noir-based expressions of their respective villages' character. Morey-Saint-Denis, situated on the Côte de Nuits border, tends toward structure and depth; Volnay, further south, is known for elegance and finesse. These wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Advocate.
