Lykos operates in Evia, the mountainous island region of Continental Greece where cool altitudes and maritime influence shape distinctive white and red wines. The winery focuses on indigenous Greek varieties: Malagouzia, a crisp aromatic white with mineral tension; Assyrtiko, the bracing, saline-edged classic of the Aegean; and Agiorgitiko, a dark-fruited red with structure and depth. The flagship Malagousia has drawn attention from Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Wine Enthusiast. Kratistos, their Agiorgitiko expression, and a bottled Assyrtiko round out the core range. These are wines rooted in terroir—the volcanic soils and continental climate of Evia—rather than international templates. Lykos represents the current generation of Greek winemaking: precise, varietal-focused, and intent on expressing place through grapes native to the region.
