Maçanita operates in the Douro, Northern Portugal's most prestigious wine region, where steep terraced vineyards and schist soils produce wines of depth and structure. The winery works with the region's signature varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz for reds; Arinto de Bucelas for whites. Pala Pinta Tinto, a blend of Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Nacional, represents the winery's red-wine expression, while Quanto and Gosto de ti Branco showcase the mineral precision of Arinto. A varietal Touriga Nacional rounds the portfolio. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Decanter.
