Manousakis produces wines from Crete, the Mediterranean island whose volcanic soils and ancient winemaking traditions shape a distinctive terroir. The winery works with both international and indigenous varieties. Nostos Pink, a Shiraz and Grenache blend, demonstrates the region's capacity for structured rosés that balance fruit and minerality. MRS., which pairs Shiraz with the local Romeiko grape, shows how Cretan producers are integrating native varieties into contemporary blends. Nostos Romeiko, made entirely from Romeiko, offers a window into the island's own vinous character—a white varietal with mineral precision and regional identity.
