Mönchhof

Mönchhof produces Riesling from steep vineyard sites in the Mosel, Germany's most celebrated region for the variety. The winery's portfolio centers on Auslese and Trockenbeerenauslese expressions—wines that capture the region's signature balance of ripeness, acidity, and mineral precision. The Erdener Prälat Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese and Auslese, along with the Ürzig Würzgarten Riesling Auslese, represent the upper tier of these offerings. Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and Wine Enthusiast have all assessed the winery's work. The Mosel's cool climate and slate-based soils yield Rieslings of distinctive character: wines that range from off-dry to fully sweet, yet maintain the bright acidity and aromatic intensity the region is known for.
