Nehrer is situated in Burgenland's Weinland region, Austria's easternmost wine territory. The winery produces wines from classic international varieties and the region's signature Blaufränkisch grape. Its Leithaberg Feurer, a Blaufränkisch, and Sonnschein, a Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon-Syrah blend, both achieve an average prestige rating of 91.5 points. A straight Cabernet Sauvignon rounds out the portfolio at 90.5 points. Wine Advocate and Falstaff have rated these releases. Burgenland's continental climate and mineral-rich soils shape wines of structure and depth, characteristics evident across Nehrer's range.
