Oenops operates in Drama, a northern region of Macedonia known for producing distinctive Greek wines from indigenous varieties. The winery focuses on three flagship expressions: Kidonitsa, made from the Kydonitsa grape; Xinomav Raw, crafted from Xinomavro; and Vidiano. These wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Advocate, and Wine Enthusiast. Xinomavro, a dark-skinned variety native to northern Greece, typically yields structured reds with mineral tension and aging potential. Vidiano, a white variety from Crete, brings aromatic complexity and freshness to the portfolio. The Kydonitsa grape remains less widely planted but offers its own character within the winery's range. Oenops's selection reflects a commitment to working with Greece's native grape heritage, each variety expressing the terroir of its respective region.
