Palazzo Maffei produces wines from Verona, in the heart of Veneto's classical wine country. The winery focuses on the indigenous varieties of the Valpolicella zone: Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara. Its Amarone della Valpolicella, built from these three grapes dried to concentrate their structure and depth, represents the region's signature style—a wine of power and complexity born from the appassimento method. The Amarone della Valpolicella Conte di Valle Riserva extends this expression with additional aging and refinement. Palazzo Maffei also produces a lighter Valpolicella, a fresh expression of the same terroir and grape blend, offering the region's characteristic balance of red fruit and subtle tannin.
