Paritua produces red wines from Hawke's Bay, New Zealand's premier region for Bordeaux varieties and Syrah. The winery's 21-12 blend—a marriage of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon—represents the house's highest expression, drawing on the region's warm, sheltered conditions and gravelly soils. A Syrah and a broader red blend round out the portfolio, each built from the same varietal foundation. Hawke's Bay's continental climate and diurnal temperature swing favor ripe, structured reds with the depth to age.
