Pierre Moncuit

Pierre Moncuit is a Champagne producer in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, the Grand Cru heart of the Côte des Blancs. The house works exclusively with Chardonnay, the region's defining grape, drawing from vineyard sites that yield wines of mineral precision and aging potential. The Cuvée Nicole Moncuit Vieille Vigne Blanc de Blancs Brut, made from old-vine fruit, represents the house's core expression—a wine that has earned recognition from Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and Decanter. The Nicole Moncuit Vieille Vigne Extra Brut offers a drier, more austere take on the same fruit. A non-dosage Blanc de Blancs rounds the portfolio, emphasizing the natural acidity and stone-fruit character of the terroir. Each release reflects the chalky soils and cool climate that define Le Mesnil, where Chardonnay achieves both richness and restraint.
