Poggio Stella
Poggio Stella produces wines from Cortona, in the heart of Toscana. The winery's portfolio centers on Sangiovese and Montepulciano, the classical grapes of Central Italy's rolling hills. Its Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva—a Sangiovese-based wine—represents the upper tier of the range, followed by the standard Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The Rosso di Montepulciano, made from Montepulciano grapes, offers a more approachable expression. All three wines have been evaluated by major critics including Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Falstaff, and Decanter.
