Prats & Symington produces wines from the Douro region of Northern Portugal, where the steep schist slopes and continental climate shape powerful, structured reds. The winery's portfolio centers on indigenous Portuguese varieties—Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, and Tinta Cão—often blended to balance the region's intensity with elegance. Quinta do Ataíde, a five-varietal blend, represents the house's most acclaimed expression, while Chryseia, built on Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, offers a more focused study of the estate's terroir. Post Scriptum de Chryseia rounds out the range with a secondary selection from the same vineyard block. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, Wine Spectator, and Falstaff. The Douro's reputation for depth and aging potential is evident across the lineup—each wine carries the mineral precision and dark fruit character typical of the region's best producers.
