Quara operates in Cafayate Valley, the southernmost wine region of Salta's Calchaqui Valley. At high altitude in northwestern Argentina, the valley's diurnal temperature swings and mineral-rich soils shape distinctive expressions of classic varietals. The winery produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Torrontés—wines that have drawn assessment from Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Decanter, Wine Spectator, and Falstaff. The Cabernet Sauvignon achieves particular depth, while the Malbec reflects the region's capacity for structure and dark fruit. Torrontés, Argentina's signature white, emerges here with the aromatic intensity and freshness characteristic of high-altitude viticulture. Cafayate's extreme elevation and cool nights allow extended ripening, lending precision to both red and white offerings.
