The winery focuses on Touriga Nacional, the country's signature dark grape, alongside complementary varieties like Souzao. The Douro Reserve Vale do Inferno Red blends Touriga Nacional and Souzao into a structured wine that has drawn assessment from Wine Advocate, Falstaff, Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Spectator. The single-varietal Vale do Inferno, made from Touriga Nacional alone, represents a more direct expression of the grape's dark fruit and mineral character.
