Quinta do Estanho produces Port wines from the Douro region of Northern Portugal, drawing on the steep terraced vineyards and schist soils that define this UNESCO-listed landscape. The winery's portfolio centers on aged Tawny expressions and vintage releases, each built from the region's classic varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca. The 30 Anos Porto, a blend of five traditional grapes, has been assessed by Wine Advocate, Falstaff, and Wine Enthusiast. The 20 Anos Porto follows a similar varietal framework, while the Vintage Port introduces Tinto Cao into the blend. Port production demands extended aging and precise oxidative control—hallmarks of Douro winemaking. These wines reflect the region's continental climate, altitude, and granite-and-schist geology, which together yield the concentrated, structured fruit characteristic of serious Port.
