Quinta do Tedo

Quinta do Tedo produces wines from the Douro region of Northern Portugal, where the steep schist terraces and continental climate shape distinctive expressions of the region's classic varieties. The winery works primarily with Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Barroca—grapes that define the Douro's character. Its Rosé Porto, a blend of Touriga Francesa, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Barroca, has been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and Falstaff. The Grande Reserva Savedra, built from Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional, and the Savedra Vintage Porto, which incorporates Tinta Barroca alongside the two Tourigas, represent the winery's approach to the region's fortified tradition. These wines reflect the Douro's mineral soils and the structural depth these varieties achieve in the region's demanding terrain.
