Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo

Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo sits in the Douro, Portugal's most celebrated red wine region. The winery produces concentrated expressions of the valley's native varieties—Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz—grapes that thrive in the region's steep, schist-terraced vineyards and warm continental climate. The Vinha Centenaria Referência P29/P21, a blend of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, represents the winery's top expression, while the P28/P21, built on Tinta Roriz, offers a complementary portrait of the estate's terroir. The winery also produces a traditional Porto, drawing on Tinto Cao, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Falstaff.
