Ramoino produces white wines from Liguria, the narrow coastal region of Northern Italy where Mediterranean influence shapes crisp, mineral-driven styles. The winery focuses on two indigenous varieties: Pigato and Vermentino, both protected under the Riviera Ligure di Ponente designation. Its Pigato Riviera Ligure di Ponente and Vermentino Riviera Ligure di Ponente express the region's limestone soils and sea-facing exposure, while the Moie Pigato Riviera Ligure di Ponente offers a more concentrated interpretation of the same grape. Wine Spectator has rated these releases. Liguria's steep terraced vineyards and cool breezes foster aromatic whites with natural acidity and salinity—wines built for seafood and the Ligurian table.
