Rigal produces wines from Cahors, in the Haut-Pays region of South West France. The winery's portfolio centers on Malbec, the dark-skinned grape that defines the appellation—structured, age-worthy wines with the mineral depth characteristic of Cahors terroir. Les Pierres Blanches and Le Vin Noir, both Malbec-based, represent the core of the range. Rigal also works with Gros Manseng, a white variety native to the region, expressed in Vin Orange—a skin-contact wine that captures the aromatic and textural complexity the grape can achieve. The wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter.
