Riondo operates in Verona, at the heart of Veneto's celebrated wine country. The winery focuses on two distinct expressions of the region's terroir: Amarone della Valpolicella, the dried-grape red that defines northeastern Italian wine, and Prosecco Spumante, the region's signature sparkling wine. The Collezione Falceri Amarone della Valpolicella, built from Corvinone, Rondinella, and Corvina, represents the winery's approach to the appassimento method—where grapes are dried before fermentation to concentrate sugars and structure. The core Amarone della Valpolicella follows the same varietal blend. The Prosecco Spumante, made from Glera, captures the crisp, effervescent character expected of the style. Wines from Riondo have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Wine Advocate.
