San Polino

San Polino is a Tuscan winery in Montalcino, the heart of Brunello country. The estate focuses on Sangiovese, the region's defining grape—a variety known for its structure, acidity, and capacity to age. The winery's portfolio centers on three expressions: Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, Helichrysum Brunello di Montalcino, and Rosso di Montalcino, each built from the same noble varietal but at different levels of maturity and complexity. The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, aged longer and more intensively, represents the winery's most ambitious interpretation. Helichrysum Brunello di Montalcino offers a complementary expression of the same terroir and grape. The Rosso di Montalcino provides a more immediate, fruit-forward entry point to the Montalcino style. All three wines have been assessed by major prestige critics including Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Falstaff, and Wine Spectator.
