San Venanzio Fortunato produces Prosecco in the Prosecco di Treviso zone of Veneto, in Italy's northeast. The winery works with Glera, the sole grape variety of the region, across three distinct expressions. Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut and Valdobbiadene Cartizze Dry represent the upper range of the portfolio, both rated by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter. A third offering, Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Sui Lieviti Brut Nature, rounds out the lineup. The Prosecco di Treviso subzone is known for its limestone-rich soils and hillside vineyards, which impart mineral character and complexity to the sparkling wines produced there. Glera-based Prosecco typically shows green apple, citrus, and floral notes with a crisp, refreshing palate.
