Sarno 1860

Sarno 1860 produces Fiano di Avellino from the volcanic slopes of Campania in Southern Italy. The winery's focus is the Fiano grape, a white variety native to the region that yields wines of mineral precision and aromatic complexity. The flagship Erre Fiano di Avellino and Emme Fiano di Avellino represent the winery's expression of this varietal, each capturing the distinctive character of the Avellino terroir. Both wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate and Wine Enthusiast. The standard Fiano di Avellino rounds out the portfolio, offering the same regional authenticity across the range. Fiano thrives in Avellino's cool climate and chalky soils, producing whites with structure and aging potential—a counterpoint to the softer, more immediately approachable whites of other Italian regions.
