Sassoregale produces wines from Maremma Toscana, the southern coastal region of Tuscany where maritime influence and mineral-rich soils shape the character of the vineyard. The winery's portfolio centers on Sangiovese, the region's signature red variety, expressed across two bottlings: the Maremma Toscana Sangiovese, a pure varietal wine, and the Poderalta Maremma Toscana Riserva, a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon that adds structure and depth. A Vermentino white rounds out the range, capturing the crisp, saline character typical of coastal Tuscan whites. The wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Spectator, and Wine Advocate.
