Sauvion

Sauvion produces wines from the Loire Valley, France's most versatile white wine region. The winery works primarily with the grapes that define the Loire: Sauvignon Blanc, Melon de Bourgogne, and Chenin Blanc. Its Haut-Poitou Sauvignon Blanc expresses the crisp, mineral character typical of the region's Sauvignon offerings. The Découverte La Landelle Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine Sur Lie, made from Melon de Bourgogne, showcases the textural complexity that extended aging on lees brings to this often-underestimated varietal. The Crémant de Loire Brut Blanc, a blend of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay, represents the Loire's sparkling wine tradition. These wines have been rated by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Decanter, and Falstaff.
