Scali

Scali is situated in Voor Paardeberg, a sub-region of Paarl in South Africa's Coastal Region. The winery focuses on two varieties that thrive in this terroir: Pinotage and Chenin Blanc. Its Pinotage has drawn assessment from Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Wine Enthusiast. The Sirkel Pinotage and Sirkel Chenin Blanc represent the winery's core offerings, both evaluated by prestige critics. Pinotage, a South African varietal born from Pinot Noir and Cinsault, expresses dark fruit and earthy character in the hands of skilled producers. Chenin Blanc, equally at home in the region, ranges from dry to off-dry expressions with mineral tension and stone fruit. Voor Paardeberg's warm days and cooling Atlantic influence create conditions suited to both varieties' ripening cycles.
