Scrimaglio

Scrimaglio is rooted in Monferrato, the rolling hills of Piemonte in northern Italy where Nebbiolo thrives in continental conditions. The winery produces Loreto Barbaresco, a Nebbiolo that captures the variety's signature structure and complexity, and Barolo Chinato, a traditional Nebbiolo-based aperitif infused with herbs and spices. These sit alongside Cortese dell'Alto Monferrato, a white from the indigenous Cortese grape that reflects the region's mineral character. Wine Enthusiast and Wine Spectator have rated Scrimaglio's portfolio, with the Loreto Barbaresco earning particular recognition. The winery's focus remains on the classical expressions of Piemonte's most demanding varieties.
