Sequillo

Sequillo sits in Swartland, the Western Cape's dynamic region known for old-vine Carignan and bold Mediterranean varieties. The winery works with a palette of southern European grapes—Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsaut, Tinta Barroca, and Shiraz alongside Carignan—to craft a Red Blend that balances structure with generosity. Its White Blend draws on aromatic and textured varieties: Clairette, Chenin Blanc, Verdelho, Viognier, and Palomino, creating complexity across the glass. Both wines have been assessed by Falstaff, Wine Advocate, and Wine Spectator. The Red Blend averages 91.7 in prestige ratings; the White Blend, 90.4. Swartland's cool maritime influence and granite soils shape wines of precision and character—neither heavy nor thin, but calibrated to food and contemplation.
