St. Antony

St. Antony produces wines from Rheinhessen, Germany's largest wine region, where warm summers and slate-rich soils create conditions for both aromatic whites and structured reds. The winery's flagship Rieslings—Zehnmorgen and Hipping, both designated Grosses Gewächs (GG)—demonstrate the precision and mineral tension that define the region's finest dry expressions. Riesling at this level balances ripeness with acidity, revealing stone fruit and citrus alongside the distinctive terroir character of their respective vineyard sites. The Paterberg Pinot Noir GG extends the winery's range into red wine, where Rheinhessen's continental climate supports elegant, age-worthy expressions of the variety. These three wines have been assessed by major critics including Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Falstaff, Decanter, and Wine Enthusiast.
