Sulin
Sulin operates in Asti, the heart of Piemonte's Barbera country. The winery focuses on two grapes native to the Monferrato hills: Barbera and Grignolino. Ornella Barbera del Monferrato Superiore, the flagship, expresses the depth and structure Barbera achieves at higher ripeness levels in this continental climate. The standard Barbera del Monferrato offers the variety's characteristic acidity and dark fruit in a more approachable frame. Brasal Monferace Grignolino, made from the region's lighter-skinned varietal, rounds out the portfolio—Grignolino typically yields wines of delicate tannin and mineral precision. Wine Enthusiast and Decanter have both assessed the range. These are wines rooted in Piemontese tradition: Barbera's earthiness and grip, Grignolino's elegance and restraint.
